S&K Electronics Board of Directors announced that Thomas Kenney has been chosen as the organization’s next President/CEO. Kenney, who currently serves as the Vice President CFO/COO will succeed Lawrence Hall effective August 24, 2018. Hall had been in the position since January of 1993 and retired at the end of November 2017.
After a comprehensive search process the Board is pleased to have found the best individual to assume the leadership role of this tribally owned entity.
Kenney holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business from the University of Montana, and a Master’s Degree in Business from the University of Nevada Reno. He joined the company in 1998 and has held the position of Vice President of Finance and Admin, CFO and most recently CFO/COO. Kenney joined the firm after 8 years of semi-conductor test equipment manufacturing experience in Nevada. Born and raised in Butte, MT (5th generation) he and his wife raised their 3 children on the reservation.
S&K Electronics is a contract manufacturing company owned by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes located in Northwest Montana on the Flathead Indian Reservation. SKE is the longest running Tribal entity having been in business since 1985.
